I was wondering what is so special about this short film and checked it out. This is a romantic story about a boy and a girl who both had difficulty with their past relationships and a “divine” intervention that helps them succeed. The film consists of two parts each depicting the same story, but from a different point of view. Production I.G described the plot as “a pure love story, colorful and sweet, yet a bit bitter, just like a piece of chocolate.”
I liked the story, but I especially enjoyed the artwork. Unlike many shiny anime today, it was drawn with soft colors and it looked like an animated manga
I also liked a few sequences that displayed the emotions of the characters.
