Opening
-
- The masses can be easily swayed. Tytania has to become the figure they fear, then its bloodline and influence will carry on forever.
-
- Report about Euria opponent: Ariabart Tytania is a man of beauty, intelligence, and it is rumored that he never lost a battle.
-
- The Empire of Vardhana, greatest in the universe, holds a birthday celebration for Emperor Harsha VI.
-
- Tytania Clan was once only a part of the Empire and didnt hold a territory on its own, but now the vast universe and humanity is rulled by that single clan.
-
- Euria have been working on an advanced technology for a long time and Tytania wanted to get a hold of it.
-
- Ariabart Tytania orders to advance the main ship, Golden Sheep, because it would be unethical to sit back here as Tytania’s commander while the enemy commander fights in the front lines.
-
- It would be suicide to fire those weapons in close proximity to the ships because they explode, but the red ship is actually unmanned lol
-
- This respectible opponent has shown me something interesting. With this Tytania’s 100 years of peace will be assured.
Ending

The visual presentation was quite pleasing: diverse perspectives, superimposed scenes, and interesting transitions. It seems that Noboru Ishiguro really likes to closeup on one person and the leave another one in the background. The character’s names appear upon first appearance, just like in the Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The space battles looked like they were happening under water… I really liked the images of the ending
Music was appropriate and set the atmosphere well. However, I felt it was little too dramatic at times. Plenty of laser shooting sounds
Voice actors performed well, but I am not particularly excited about any of them. I’ll keep my judgment of the story for later.
Keep in mind that the anime is based on the novels by Yoshiki Tanaka that are not complete yet, and the author stopped working on them in 1991. That is not a good sign, but we’ll see how it will turn out. The writer for Tytania anime is Kenichi Kanemaki (Ai Yori Aoshi, Hell Girl, Negima, Pretear, Record of Lodoss War, Rumbling Hearts, Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei).
I’ll definitely keep watching and blogging about Tytania

So I’ve watched this RAW and noticed one major flaw… There’s no females. The only one (maybe two) only appear in the ED.
The battles remind me more of the Crest/Banner of the Stars series… but less aristocrats having tea in the midst of a battle (granted, one did take a bath…)
Lydia appeared in the middle of the episode, but I see what you mean – no Nagi in this one
Nothing tastes better than a fresh tea in the midst of a battle
I’m glad you liked it, I plan on watching it soon, so I feel a bit relieved that someone had some praise to give this show. I’ll stick with this show for the rest of the season.
Ah, good to hear that you’ll keep watching it
