As I reported before, Mamoru Oshii is developing anime about the legendary Miyamoto Musashi. A new trailer was released recently.

I like the art style, so I may have to check this one out.
As long as they don’t have Blade of Immortal music quality, I’ll check it out
I feel that this trailer is marked by Production I.G.’s strong individuality.
Yup, we’ll see how it will turn out. The anime will not be directed by Oshii though.
I’m not too keen on the character designs, but I’ll wait until more trailers/caps become available before deciding whether or not to pick this one up. Given my thirst for historical epics I may end up watching it anyway.

For some reason, this anime keeps reminding me of Samurai Champloo, or it could be that I love Champloo so much, I have to compare it to other Samurai-esque animes.
It might be similar to Champloo, but I would like to see more footage. Champloo had one of the most awesome swordsmen ever, and Musashi also made an appearance there
