Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Music and numerous expressions of the protagonist were good. The girl reminds me of Chihiro from Spirited Away. She is bored and does not appreciate things she has in life. She didn’t even prepare a present for her mother! Perhaps, the cataclysm will facilitate her personal growth. Probably, I’ll keep watching this anime.
Summer 2009 Anime Preview
Ah, I’ve yet to watch the episode. Gonna catch it later. Colour the girl’s hair pink and she’ll turn into Kuniko from Shangri-la *lol*.

Hmm… so I guess earthquake didn’t happen until the very end of the episode, eh? Drawings don’t look like typical Bones stuff but visual still looks pretty good.
The episode started with a flashback: the girl standing in the ruins recalls the past. The beginning of the actual earthquake started at the end of the episode.
OP is ok. Everything else… bleh.
It is only the beginning, so we’ll have to see how it revolves
