A recurring issue in the series is a dilemma between adherence to the tradition, duty, and current order vs embracing the new and doing what is right despite the circumstances. Iyaru was on a borderline a few years ago, but now, it seems he is trying to leave all his feelings behind.

Killing his mentor like that because of an order is just stupid! There was no questioning, no talk – he just did it. Has he really broken the law? Of course, Iyaru regretted it, but it was too late. Perhaps, elite bodyguards should mindlessly abide orders like that – it is their duty, but we also have a duty, as human beings, to follow our moral code that should be above all.
