The 5th anniversary of this blog is coming up in less than a couple of months. I have not posted much on anime lately, so I decided to do a project that I wanted to complete for years. It will span several posts and touch on many different anime. The hint is in the picture

You will theorize, prove and reveal to the world the meaning of different hair colors in anime?
ahahaha That’s a great observation! Not the topic of my project, but it is interesting. I did a red vs blue post a while ago. The hair color is quite easy to explain it seems though. Moreover, you can even make predictions! Blond snipers are doomed!
There is a certain characteristic that the females in the picture share. They are all from Macross, but that’s not the point.

That’s close, but not quite it. The topic you suggest is good, but it sounds like it would require extensive writing, and I have no time to address it properly. I just intend to create a list of something with some brief comments and retrospective.
I indeed haven’t seen Macross. but could it be the ‘evolution’ of some songs in Macross? Or perhaps the common traits of the singers in Macross along the ‘generations’?
It is not related to Macross, but “singers” points in the right direction and “generations” is the good word!

It is not apparent from the picture if you have not seen the films. Hopefully, it will provide some historical perspective.
