This is a list of my favorite anime that aired during 2000-2009. Please note that this list is highly subjective and based on how much I enjoyed the shows.
Inevitably, you might wonder why a particular anime is not on this list. It is likely that I just have not seen or have not completed it yet.
Writing and reading top anime lists is an interesting activity because writing one requires some reflection and introspection, while reading one may help people discover some good old shows and learn about the general preferences of authors of such lists.
