Anyhow, I’m looking at your graph and it seems to me that your views/hits peak in a cycle. Looks to me that your next big peak is some time next year around June to September.

Indeed, it might look like a pattern, but data can be deceiving π If you read the 100K post, you know the source of the first spike π The first spike was just a coincidence, but this one is a result of hard work and steady monthly improvement.

Yup, that post marked the end of the epic series. Unfortunately, the end was not very satisfactory ( I watched Macross for music and romance π ).
I heard form many as well, that the ending wasn’t all that good, only because it tried too hard to be perfect…
I haven’t gotten around to watching the series yet myself, only because I thought I should watch the other Macross series first; one after the other. Though, I haven’t had much of the time recently to really do that, so I think I’m going to give up on that plan and just go ahead and watch Macross Frontier X)
I just felt that the end of Macross Frontier was rushed. However, it seemed that many mecha fans enjoyed the finale.
Watching other Macross series is not required at all, but may help you notice some things. For the purposes of Macross Frontier and maximum return for the time investment, I recommend Macross Zero (5 episodes ~= 150 minutes) and Do You Remember Love? (115 minutes) Those two will give you plenty of background.
