Since winter is my favorite season, I enjoy sonatas, and the plot features dramatic romance, this anime is a must to check out for me 🙂 It is based on one of the four part Korean drama Endless Love. Anime News Network does not have much information about the anime yet, so I’ll write based on the official website and the description of the live-action drama.
Synopsis
Joon-sang (Bae Yong Jun) moves to a new high school in search for his biological father. Yu-jin (Choi Ji Woo) and Sang-hyuk (Park Yong Ha) are close childhood friends, although Sang-hyuk wants to be more than a friend, Yu-jin sees him as a brother. On a trip together with other high school mates, Oh Chelin (Park Sol Mi), Jin-suk (Lee Hye Eun) and Yong-kuk (Ryu Seung Soo), Yu-jin is saved after an accident by Joon-sang. They become close and she opens up his cold heart. However, circumstances and fate dictate that their love will never be. He abruptly disappears from their lives.
Ten years later, the old High School buddies gather to celebrate Yu-jin and Sang-hyuk’s soon-to-be wedding. Yu-jin, who was deeply in love with Joon-sang, still has a fire in her heart for him. But at the party, Oh Chelin’s new boyfriend arrives, who appears the same as Joon-sang. (Drama Wiki)

I watched the K-dorama of this one and it’s quite tear-jerking. I don’t know if I would be watching this one because most of the time, I don’t watch anime anymore when I’ve already watched its live-action (Nodame Cantabile, Itazura na Kiss)…
Wow, a Korean Drama turned anime? This is very exciting, considering that if this show does well, many other k-drama adaptations might be heading our way. A Coffee Prince anime? If only such a thing could be true, alas, there is just hoping. I’d be fine with a few other mainstream drama to be adapted into anime. Stairway to Heaven, and Full House come to mind. In any case, this is a first, and I’ll be anticipating great things from this anime.
Kanzeon,
Oh, it sounds like this will be really dramatic anime 🙂 Yes, I see why you wouldn’t want to watch anime if you’ve seen the film. I have not seen the film though, so I’ll have to check it out 🙂

Sunggyu,
It is very exciting indeed, and I hope more dramas are going to be adapted to anime 🙂 Don’t raise your anticipation too high though 😛
Will they speak japanese or korean?
That is a good question. Since the voice actors will be the same, it might be Korean.
Ooh sounds cool.
I’ve heard of this but never watched it, they do seem to make good dramas in Korea.
I LOVED Goong and have just started watching Coffee Prince.
I have not heard about Goong. Why you like it so much, Sakura?
I’ll be watching this but I’ll be bawwing quite a bit.
Why the bawwing, Jayers?
I think jayers will be bawwinng because it’s a very sad series.
Wow, I liked Winter Sonata (in fact it’s the only k-drama I can stand, since k-dramas tend to stretch itself out thin until you get tired of all the drama), so hopefully the anime adaptation will cut short all those boring, boring episodes in between.
i really love this korean film hope that the main character have a second or another film that they will show here in the Philppines
They might make another film 🙂
