  1. Woah, a gun toting maid. That’s mind-blowing. D: Reminds me of those spy movies where everyone is capable of doing something cool. The cook used to be a soldier huh. Woah I saw that video ‘Nikita’ and the gun was awesome! But the video ended at a somehow cliffhanger. ‘Leon’ was interesting as well… practicing that in public? I may check the movies out when I have time. (:

  2. You know, I saw a rumor that listed backgrounds of the 3 servants. They didn’t list these EXACT backgrounds, but they were really close. I actually laughed when I read them, but now. . . Meirin’s is certainly surprising!

You didn’t screenshot it, but in the preview Sebastian is glaring at Ciel. I wonder what will happen.

    Thanks for another episode ^_^

    1. I was pleasantly surprised by Meirin as well πŸ™‚

Yes, it was a very nice shot, but I decided to save it for the next episode πŸ˜› We see Ciel wondering about his path in this episode. I wonder if it will lead to a confrontation between him and Sebastian…

Your are welcome, thanks for your comments πŸ™‚

  3. I would not have expected the maid to be a professional assassin, that was cool. I also feel sorry for finian for what happened to him in his past.

  4. WOW.

One of my favorite episodes so far. The only one that tops it is episode 6, which is funny because this one and that episode are linked. They both were touching and sad and showed Ciel’s mind and the way he does things thinking of it as a game of chess.

But Ciel has changed, and this episode was so full of symbols backing up what most of us thought. Aberline changed Ciel.

The way Ciel is now, and the way he was on episode 6 is completely different. He had Aberline willingly become his pawn and die for him. something he didn’t mind SAYING back then, but having EXPERIENCE it, having seen Sebastian do what Ciel talked about back then and let a pawn die for the king….its different now. Ciel is changing and the fact that at the end we see the King down and the Queen standing gave me a hint of it…and I think it also gave a hint to Sebastian….maybe that’s the reason why Sebastian looks so displeased on the preview. Because the soul he will get is no longer the soul of a cold and lonely master.

That said, I was so moved by this episode I almost cried….

I needed this episode. Now Kuroshitsuji has no flaws.

Something that bugged me before were the servants and how they were stupid just for the sake of laughs; I can’t no longer stand that in anime. But that’s no longer the case. They are like that because they are not used to their new enviroment and weren’t even trained to perform those daily tasks, also because their true job is to protect the master that gave them a new hope. And what’s more, they’re not doing it as pawns, no. They are doing it willingly because they care about their little master. When Sebastian started played the violin and we got to see them with that BGM I just wanted to cry ^^…

This was indeed a wonderful episode, full of secrets (I’m still amazed by Meirin…not even the manga gave us her background. It only told us she never wore a skirt before being a maid.) it was touching, full of symbolism and character development.

I’m truly excited about how this series will end….if Ciel happens to die at the end, at least he will be at peace and he won’t die as a bitter child full of hatred. Not anymore ^^

…oh! and I knew it! that’s not the real queen!

ANIME/GAME FACT # 11: when a character hides a feature for no reason (like the queen hiding her face beneath a veil when there’s no point for that since we already know how she looks like from the manga)there’s more to them and caution is advised. Another example of this fact was Lau and his closed eyes. When he opens them it meant srz business and that you had to run away crying to your nearest demon butler 8P

Oh well, better cut it before I write a book instead of a post. Thanks for the caps x3 <3!

    1. Indeed, Aberline affected Ciel significantly. Sebastian might not be happy with the way things are going now.

It sounds like this episode touched you πŸ™‚ Yes, that was a good scene when Sebastian played music and servants were defending the house.

      haha That a fun fact #11 πŸ™‚

When he opens them it meant srz business and that you had to run away crying to your nearest demon butler 8P

      πŸ˜€

Thank you for your extensive input πŸ™‚

      1. No need to thank me, I like rambling xD;

But yeah…I admit I found this episode touching…mostly because now we got a justification of the servant’s loyalty (and clumsiness) and because of the apparent change in Ciel’s personality ^^,

Now I can’t wait till episode 22 is available subbed! just the title of your entry is driving me nuts! I wanna’ knooooow xD

    1. I was wondering about that song as well. The creators implemented it well. It is very difficult to hear the actual lyrics (all I can say is that the song is in English – I only can pick up a few words), but the spirit of the song conveyed very well and fits the footage in both this episode and in the next one. Kuroshitsuji has so many excellent tracks…. I can’t wait for the OST!

  5. ok… i have not seen this episode… so let me see if i can guess…. MAYLENES AN ASSASINE, BARD WAS IN THE MILITARY, AND FINNY WAS SUBJECTED TO MEDICAL TESTS THAT MADE HIM A SUPER HERO??!??!??!?!? WTFT???

  6. anyone know the song that’s playing when the servants protect the mansion???

    it starts off with a piano . . .
