  1. so, technically, could i watch this fullmetal series without knowing anything about fullmetal? i heard somewhere that i could, but still not sure..

    1. The first TV series was partially based on manga. Then, as it often happens, the anime outraced manga, and they had to come up with their own version. Anime versions tend to be worse than the manga versions. I thought the first TV series was good, but I have not read the manga. The second TV series will be a complete re-telling of the story that will be faithful to the manga. Thus, you can safely watch this new anime 🙂

      1. awesome. now, next question. how comes all of these ladies are doing shonen voices?! even in soul eater, the manly Black Star is voiced by a woman!!

        1. Well, some voice actresses are doing voices of young males or strong women 🙂 I guess it is the types of roles they prefer based on their vocal capabilities. I don’t like Rie that much, but Romi is just great 🙂 For example, Yuko Sanpei voiced Nakiami in Xam’d, but will voice 13-year-old boy in Natsu no Arashi. One of the roles of Romi Paku this Spring season is a duck! lol
