That’s a keen observation. For example, Teo does not appear to have pupils. I think it is a design choice rather than a reflection of an affect.
I’ve gotten used to that gradient-styled eye. They look sort of cool I guess… perhaps abit hypnotizing like the first comment mentioned *blush* =3
