I’ve actually seen the original series, years and years ago. It was all the rage back then! I remembered classmates and aunties discussing the episodes. It was probably among the first few Korean series to really kick off this Korean drama frenzy. (: There was another one called Autumn in My Heart, but that one was just sad sad sad, all the way. Someone always dies in Korean serials.
Yes, I also heard that it was popular, but I didn’t get a chance to watch the series.

They should not make it too sad, because there is enough misery in real life already…
Aww, your words (on my blog) made me smile to myself! (: I’m really flattered, because of friends like you, haha. Thank you, really. The truth is, yes there’s much more that I’m not letting out because I’m not exactly keen on writing that in my blog. I sincerely hope I could do better in college, as somehow I’m always known as ‘the girl with good English’ or ‘the girl who can write’. It isn’t entirely cohesive with what I’m learning anyway, haha. So don’t be surprised if I somehow ended up being a writer in the future! (:
Yeah, I couldn’t help being hypercritical as my batch has loads of talented people. Can’t help but feel so pressured and inferior to the rest of them. And wow, the pressure is mounting now. Especially when my best friend is one of the best in class, I feel much worse all the time.
The thing is, I don’t regret choosing this road, maybe reality hasn’t sunk in yet for me. 😐

Indeed, you are a good writer. Whatever route you choose, I am sure you’ll be successful 🙂
Rather than comparing yourself to others, try to set your own standard and be better than yourself. There will always be someone who is better than you and me, but we can keep striving for perfection. It is this internally driven motivation that will lead to sustained gradual progress, whereas worrying about others will not get you far.
