Ooh, Lady GaGa. Even my dad likes her songs-he said he’d go if she were to perform here live! (: I wasn’t very keen on her style of music at first, but then it turns out that she’s an extremely talented individual and she doesn’t hold back in terms of performances and fashion. Did you see her performance at the VMAs? Possibly the highlight of the night after Michael Jackson’s tribute. Lets just say… it was unusual, haha. She has great songs, and to imagine she wrote one of them under 5 minutes! She makes awesome acoustic versions of some of her songs as well, like ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Paparazzi’.
Was that a Michael Jackson reference at the beginning of the amv? 8D Love it, although I don’t know like 90% of what anime I’m seeing lol. I like how the anime fit the lyrics, especially the parts where they seem to mouth the words! (:
Haha, Kuroshitsuji. Speaking of which, I got a lot of remarks about that as usual, including the fact that I’m being referred to as Sebastian’s wife, sigh. As long as the lecturers don’t need to know, I guess? My friends just love to tease me. D: Haha.
Oh, you dad likes her songs? haha It is good that he has an open mind π
Unfortunately, I have not watched VMA. Nowadays I come back home from work, eat, and have about an hour to do administrative tasks, check email, blogs, etc. and then I go to sleep because I have to wake up around 0500 to run several miles and then go to work π
Writing a good song under five minutes is quite quick π She must be a very talented person π
Yes, I think it was MJ reference π
Some AMV editors work very hard on lip-syncing. It is not the main ingredient for a good AMV, but it is nice.
haha They are at it again! I hope lecturers won’t ask for all the details π Don’t let your friends bother you too much though.
Haha, lets hope that the lecturer doesn’t pay too much attention to our ramblings! (: Naw, I’m not really bothered by my friends; it’s really hilarious at times, although this also means drawing too much attention to yourself, lol. It’s good that they put so much effort into the lip-synching. I’m awed.
Maybe you should make a screening of one Kuroshitsuji episode for lecturer edification purposes. Then, next year Sebastian will be a part of the curriculum π
It is good that you are having fun π
Yes, syncing of some AMVs is fascinating π
can you tell me please from which anime the royal ball and that woman that looks like indian are from?
There seem to be several balls, so I am not sure to which one you are referring to. It would be helpful if you could point to the minute and second when they appear. Also I am not sure what you mean by Indian woman. Again time reference would be helpful. Nevertheless, let me try to guess what you mean.
Observe the talent of Hiroshi Kamiya π

This woman is Roma rather than Indian. *Huge spoilers for Fullmetal Alchemist* You can listen to the song listed next instead if you don’t want to be spoiled π
wow…thanks a lot! it was tiera and roma…gosh…tieria is a man! loved the gypsies *hearts*
You are welcome π
haha Yes, he is π
I also liked the gypsies π
12 kingdoms? i must have blinked and missed it. π¦
but loved the scene from Toradora, imagine doing that at a train station at rush hour =P
Some of the excerpts are very brief.
haha If you do that at rush hour, you’ll get squished π
Awesome find, thanks.
I like the mix of old and new anime. And speaking of old anime – I’m watching Outlaw Star right now for the first time and finally getting around to rewatching Rurouni Kenshin.
You are welcome, I am glad you liked it π
Yes, the mix of old and new anime is one of the things I really liked about it.
Oh, I think I watched Outlaw Star on TV a while ago. It was an interesting anime that reminded me of one science fiction story. The story is very short, but it depicts the nature of the subject quite nicely (I recall the details vaguely). Three people gain access to some kind of galactic traveling machine. One person is impressed by wonderful views on their journey, and another one, who is a scientist I think, is at awe of finding new methods and learning new laws, while the third one is a writer, who is not that much impressed because he sees and invents such worlds everyday with his imagination π It was narrated much more eloquently, but this is the gist of the story π
Ah… all these memories of Outlaw Star… Thank you for reminding me about it – I’ll make a post! π
Are you re-watching the entire TV series of Kenshin?
HAHA brilliant plan though! Perhaps we ought to discuss upon which episode is suitable-then I’d credit you! Wow lol. And do I introduce him as my husband? (facepalms)
So what would the subject about Sebastian be? I wonder. (: Demonology? Not too sure if he lectures, as I’m rather dubious about his artistic ability.
We’re currently doing acrylic on illustration board, which I’m sorely grateful that my painting skills has moved up a grade. Whew, should work at keeping it that way.
Oh, I can think of so many episodes that are NOT suitable π

I am glad your painting skills are improving! π
