路上行人欲斷魂

Devastating events hit Japan, affecting many lives several weeks ago. My life was also affected that week… A family member passed away… I’ll let the music speak…

  1. I am sorry to hear about your loss, and yes April is the time to go and pay respects for departed family members. Really sad song, that I have definitely heard in the past.

  2. I haven’t listened to the song yet but am very moved by the resent shocking devestation.

Your dedication to reporting on wonderful art/things. continues to surprise me.

I pray for your family at this time.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

  3. That royally sucks to hear.

I’ve been worrying about you for awhile because I knew you’d post something about the Japanese earthquake and when you didn’t, I just had a feeling there was a reason why.

I’ll be praying for you and your family member.

    1. Thank you, Mei. Time alone will not do anything, each person have to face the situation. Even though you can’t do anything to bring someone back, you have to accept your grief and think about it. Turn grief into growth.

  4. I love the sound of the erhu. Its music and melody can convey a deep emotion such as the one you shared. I hope you’re doing alright amidst all the worrisome happenings. Take care, ya.
